Bluetooth-Based Smartphone Control
The included Bluetooth controller connects the RGB+W DRL boards to the compatible smartphone app, providing access to the available colors, dedicated white illumination, brightness settings and supported lighting modes.
In addition to replacing the original DRL boards, the included Bluetooth controller must be mounted and electrically connected using the supplied RGB+W wiring.

Important Installation Requirements
The original DRL boards are located inside the sealed headlight assemblies. Installation therefore requires the headlights to be removed and opened before the internal components can be accessed.
Headlight Lens Removal
The headlight lens must be carefully separated from the housing to provide access to the original internal DRL boards.
Board and Controller Installation
The original DRL boards must be replaced with the RGB+W boards developed for the selected Golf headlight configuration. The included Bluetooth controller and supplied RGB+W wiring must also be installed and electrically connected.
Professional Installation
Professional installation is strongly recommended because the headlights must be opened, the internal electronics must be handled correctly and the assemblies must be properly reassembled and resealed afterward.
