Important Installation Requirements
The original DRL boards are located inside the sealed headlight assemblies. Installation therefore requires the headlights to be removed and opened before the internal components can be accessed.
Headlight Lens Removal
The headlight lenses must be carefully separated from the housings to provide access to the original internal DRL boards.
Replacement of the Original DRL Boards
The corresponding original daytime running light boards must be removed and replaced with the RGB+W boards developed for the compatible Subaru BRZ headlight configuration.
Bluetooth Controller and RGB+W Wiring
The included Bluetooth controller must be mounted separately and electrically connected to the replacement boards using the supplied RGB+W wiring.
