Important Installation Requirements
The original DRL boards are located inside the sealed headlight assemblies. Installation therefore requires the headlights to be removed and opened before the internal boards can be accessed.
Headlight Lens Removal
The headlight lens must be carefully separated from the housing to provide access to the original internal DRL boards.
Board and Controller Installation
The original DRL boards must be replaced with the RGB+W boards. The included controller and the required electrical connections must then be installed for app-controlled operation.
Professional Installation
Professional installation is strongly recommended because the headlights must be opened, correctly reassembled and properly resealed after the RGB+W system has been installed.
After installation, the headlight lenses and housings must be carefully reassembled and resealed to help protect the internal components from moisture, condensation and contamination.
